Nazim’s cousin, driver kidnapped

MIRPURKHAS, Oct 21: The cousin of the Nazim of Kot Ghulam Mohammad taluka, Abdul Rehman Bhurgari, and his driver, Noor Hassan Machhi, were kidnapped near Ghulam Nabi Shah town in Umerkot taluka on Sunday.

The vehicle, in which they were travelling at the time of the incident, was later found abandoned in Umerkot taluka.

No FIR was registered till the filing of the report.

The crime rate has risen in the district since the past couple of months.

The police was still clueless regarding the kidnapping of the local transporter Karim Dino Nohri, who is a close associate of the SDA leader, Arbab Ghulam Raheem. He was kidnapped two days ago.

occupation: Rajab Ali Shah, a resident of Thamsabad, has accused five persons of forcibly occupying his house besides preparing a forged sale agreement.

Ghulam Ali, Mushtaq Ali, Niaz Ali, Irfan Ali and Ghulam Mustafa were nominated in the FIR.

Meanwhile, the assistant Mukhtiarkar, Mirpurkhas, Ibrahim Memon, has registered an FIR accusing Jan Muhammad of preparing a fake solvency certificate, showing his 22 acres of land in Deh 108, Mirpurkhas taluka.

The accused had submitted the papers before the court for granting bail to Noor Zaman and others.
