KARACHI, Oct 21: The Board of Intermediate Education on Monday declared the results of intermediate part-I (class-XI) annual examinations of the humanities (regular) group.
In all, 12,806 students had registered themselves but only 12,595, appeared in the exams.
As many as 6,238 students (240 boys, 5998 girls) passed all the six papers, pass percentage being 49.53; 3152 students (248 boys, 2904 girls) got through in five papers, (25.03 per cent); 1,514 students (218 boys, 1296 girls) cleared four papers, pass percentage 12.02; 844 students (182 boys, 662 girls) passed in three papers, pass percentage 6.70; 455 students (167 boys, 288 girls) got through in two papers, pass percentage 3.61, while 231 students (110 boys, 121 girls) could pass only one paper, with a pass percentage of 1.83.
SPECIAL STUDENTS: The Board also declared the results of higher secondary certificate part-I (class-XI) annual examination 2002 held in June for the humanities (regular) group special candidates (deaf and blind).
In all, 61 students (32 boys, 29 girls) had registered themselves and all of them appeared in the examination.
