QUETTA: Five bullet-riddled bodies were found in Panjgur, Quetta and Khuzdar on Wednesday, sources said. At least three of those murdered were political activists.

Police retrieved three bodies from a seasonal nullah on the outskirts of Panjgur town and took them to the district hospital after local people informed authorities about the presence of the bodies.

The dead were identified as Agha Abid Shah, Safeer Baloch and Abdul Sattar Baloch. They were said to be activists of the Baloch Student Organisation (BSO-Azad) and had been missing for a long time. Their bodies were handed over to the families.

The body of Sadiq Karim was found in Sardar Karez area on the outskirts of Quetta. He belonged to Basima area of the Awaran district.

The body of Jan Mohammad, who was kidnapped by armed men two days ago, was found in Khuzdar.
