Salma strikes twice

LAHORE, Nov 13: Two goals by striker Salma Jabeen in  the second  half helped Punjab Whites overwhelm Punjab Colours 4-0 in the All Pakistan Fatima Jinnah Memorial  women hockey tournament at the National Hockey Stadium Tuesday.

In another match, Sindh Whites beat Sindh Colour 3-0.

Punjab Whites led 1-0 at half time.

Besides,  Salma  Jabeen  who struck in the  42nd  and  48th minutes,  the other scorers were inside-left Beenish Hayat  (11th minute) and Azra Nasir (39th minute).

Punjab Colours wasted all the four penalty-corners while the Whites also wasted two shot-corners they got.

Sindh  Whites  played  an offensive game  in  the  first  half scoring  all the three goals against Sindh  Colours.

For Sindh Whites, Huma (11th minute), Sabra (15th minute) and Kausar (22nd minute) scored the goals.

Sindh  Colours  earned  three penalty-corners  but  could  not capitalise any one.
