KARACHI, Oct 15: The Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi, declared the results of higher secondary certificate part-I (class-XI) annual examination of the commerce group (regular) students on Tuesday.

In all, 13,953 students — 9325 boys, 4628 girls — had registered themselves, of whom 13,694 (9,122 boys, 4,572 girls) appeared in the exams.

As many as 5,751 students (2,822 boys, 2,929 girls) passed all the seven papers (42 per cent); 2,543 students (1,663 boys, 880 girls) got through six papers (18.57%); 1,751 (1387 boys, 364 girls) cleared five papers (12.79%); 1305 students (1087 boys, 218 girls) passed in four papers (9.53%); 993 students (885 boys, 108 girls) got through in three papers (7.25%), while the number of those who passed in two papers remained 686 (639 boys, 47 girls) and 464 students (449 boys, 15 girls) could get through only in one paper with pass percentage of 3.39.
