World Blind Day walk

MULTAN, Oct 14: A walk to observe the World Blind Day will be held here on Tuesday (today).

The walk will be led by district Naib Nazim Malik Muhammad Aamir Dogar. The Oct 15 is observed all over the world for the security of the white stick which is a symbol of the blind people.

The blind people belonging to Bahawalpur, Khanewal, Multan and Dera Ghazi Khan will participate in the walk which is scheduled at 1.00 pm.

It will start from Kalima Chowk and culminate at Nawan Shahr Chowk. White sticks will also be distributed among the blind people on the occasion.—APP
