2 boys die in roof collapse

MULTAN, Oct 14: Two minor brothers died when the roof of their house caved in in a slum area near Chungi No 14.

Delhi Gate police said Shoaib and Shahzad were watching television in a room of their house in Dosehra Ground on Sunday evening. The wooden girder of the roof broke and the roof caved in as a result of which both the brothers died on the spot.

ACCIDENT: Two motorcyclists were crushed while their third companion was seriously injured by a vehicle near Vehari, some 90 km from here.

According to Daniwal police, Sajjad Ali, Ali Sher and Aslam Rajput, residents of Chak 7-WB, Vehari, were on their way home by a motorcycle on Sunday evening when they met an accident. Sajjad and Ali Sher died on the spot while Aslam sustained serious injuries. He was shifted to the Nishtar Hospital in critical condition.—APP
