GUJRANWALA, Oct 13: Four Nazimeen who had resigned from their offices to contest the general election have been elected to the Punjab Assembly while one other has lost.

The former Nazimeen who have won the election are Chaudhry Shamshad (Kamoki tehsil council), Zahid Pervaiz (Farid Town union council), Lal Shakeelur Rahman (Naushera Road UC) and Mehr Shabbir (Ghargakh UC).

However, Muhammad Ashraf Butt, a PML-J aspirant for PP-97, is a loser.
