KARACHI, Oct 13: Sindh Health Minister Ahsan Ahmed has ordered the suspension of Chief Medical Officer, Taluka Hospital Shahdadkot Dr Allah Dino Khaskheli after receiving recommendations from medical boards against him.

According to a handout, the Sindh health minister had received certain complaints about Dr Khaskheli with regard to the issuance of two different medico-legal certificates.

The health department had constituted two special boards to conduct an inquiry and verify those certificates. The board found the certificates to be illegal.

On receipt of the board report, the minister ordered the removal of the doctor from the post and suspension of his services.

In this regard, the minister has appointed Health Secretary Khalid Latif Chaudhry to take action against the CMO.—APP
