QUETTA: Gunmen in southwestern Pakistan attacked and torched three trucks carrying logistics for Nato troops operating in Afghanistan on Wednesday, DawnNews reported.

The tankers were attacked near Dhadar in the province's Bolan district.

Levies sources said four armed men on motorbikes started firing at the tankers and torched them subsequently.

The assailants managed to escape from the scene and no one claimed responsibility for the attack.

Nato trucks and oil tankers are regularly targeted with arson attacks blamed on insurgents attempting to disrupt two key supply lines that cross western Pakistan bound for foreign troops fighting in neighbouring Afghanistan.
