LAHORE: Uproar from the opposition continued in the Punjab Assembly for the fourth day on Wednesday, DawnNews reported. MPAs chanted slogans and surrounded the chair of Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Iqbal due to which he called security inside the assembly hall.

Opposition MPAs from the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League - Quaid (PML-Q) also chanted slogans against members of the Unification Bloc.

The speaker, however, started the proceedings and turned off the microphone in use of the newly appointed Leader of Opposition Raja Riaz.

Opposition MPAs continued interrupting the assembly's proceedings.

Earlier today, Riaz said that the Punjab government was trying to create a clash between the various institutions.
