KARACHI: MLO suspended

KARACHI, Oct 11 : Medico-legal officer of the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, Dr Nisar Ali Shah has been suspended with immediate effect.

Provincial Minister for Health and Population Welfare, Maj-Gen Ahsan Ahmad, said on Friday that the decision had been taken in view of a number of reports against the medico-legal officer.

He said that efforts were on to eliminate corruption from the health department.

He said that he had sent a summary with his recommendations to the governor Sindh for enhancement of salary of house-job doctors working in Sindh.—PPI
