PESHAWAR, Oct 10: The NWFP Governor, Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah, on Thursday visited six districts, which included Kohat, Nowshera, Mardan, Swat and Battagram, where he inspected more than one dozen polling stations.

The governor, accompanied by Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Athar Minallah, at the first leg of his tour dashed to Kohat, where he cast his vote at the polling station at Government Girls High School No.3, Kohat city. He also inspected the polling station at FG Public School near Bannu Gate Chowki, Kohat.

Later, he went to Risalpur in the Nowshera district and visited the polling stations at FG Public School and Government Boys High School, Rashakai.

Before leaving for Saidu Sharif, Swat, the governor also stopped at Mardan.

Next, he went to Government High School, Battagram, and BHU Pagora. District Nazim Attaullah Tarand was also with the governor on the occasion.

Later in the day, the governor visited a number of polling stations in the provincial metropolis.
