SHIKARPUR, Oct 9: An independent candidate, contesting polls from PS-12 (Shikarpur-IV), Imam Bux Bakhirani, on Wednesday announced to retire in favour of the PPP candidate, Junaid Ahmed Soomro.
Speaking at a press conference, Imam Bux said he would support the PPP candidate in the elections.
KILLED: A woman, Allah Bachai, 40, was killed after bandits opened fire at the inmates of a house after they put up resistance in Wazirabad village on Tuesday.
ROBBED: Imam Bux Soomro of Lakhi village was deprived of Rs4,000 by 12 unidentified armed bandits the other day near the Lakhi railway crossing.
