Mirza Asadullah Khan Ghalib was a great legend of Urdu poetry.He gave a wonderful style and discourse to Urdu poetry and prose .His services for the promotion of Urdu language and literature are glorious chapter of history of Urdu literature.His poetry will keep him alive.He is quite immortal.He suffered many hardships during his life but he kept his integrity and grace intact.There is no parallel to his poetry.He condemned cruel and corrupt mafia which has ruined the life of poor ,helpless and oppressed people.He worked for human rights and freedom of thought and expression.He disliked foreign aggression in subcontinent.His letters are very important in learning history and historical process .He will be remembered for ever.

I feel sorry to see one of the best media in Pakistan producing a documentary in such a careless fashion. Faulty recitation and incoherence in the video, if you ask me. I wish I had not wasted two minutes of my life plus a minute more that took me to write this.

Many are those who have knowledge but very few have understanding.This is a common observation in many and most of the spheres related to humanity.

If Urdu poetry is a flower , Ghalib is his fragrance.If it is a diamond, Ghalib is its brilliance. He is the only Urdu poet who has surpassed all the heights of glory and poetical sagacity.He lived unchallenged and died unrivaled as the greatest Urdu poet of all times.He is the immortal of Asia and will vibrate in the memory of the people so long as Urdu lives.May Allah bless Urdu with longevity.
