LAHORE: Pakistan’s under-23 football team are set to face a stern test when they play Thai Premier League side Osotspa at the Saraburi Football Stadium on Tuesday.

The Pakistan Olympic team are currently undergoing a training and practice regimen in the Far East. The Thailand-based camp will conclude on February at the National Training Field in Nong Jok, after which the team will head to Malaysia.

Osotspa-Saraburi FC, who boast players from Brazil, Japan, Nigeria and South Africa, are among the top Thai football clubs and ended the 2010 season ranked seventh.

It will be confrontation between Tariq Lutfi and Pairoj Borwonwattanadirok as coaches while the two captains will be Jetsada Puanakunmee and Jadeed Khan at 6000-capacity Saraburi Stadium, home stadium of Osotspa Saraburi and Saraburi FC of Regional League Division 2.

Pakistan last faced Osotspa in the build-up to the 2004 South Asian Games in Islamabad.
