Teachers resent varsity Ord

NAWABSHAH, Oct 5: The teachers association of the Quaid-i- Awam University of Science and Technology continued its protest against the proposed model university ordinance here on Saturday for the second consecutive day.

The activists of the association boycotted their classes and wore black arm-bands.

They deplored the police violence against the teachers and students in Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar. They demanded early release of the teachers and suspension and arrest of the police officials involved in the incidents.—Correspondent
