KARACHI, Feb 1: Prolific striker Shakir Lashari's hat-trick enabled National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) to thrash Al Mohmil Club Mastung 7-0 in the opening match of the main round of the fifth All Pakistan NBP Football League at the Colony Sports Football Ground here on Tuesday.

Shakir got his three goals in the ninth, 13th and 20th minutes. The rest of the goals were scored by Abdul Aziz (27th and 58th mins), Farooq Shah (43rd min) and Jamil Ahmed (65th min).

The match was supervised by referee Abdul Ghafoor.

Earlier, former Test cricketer Iqbal Qasim, head of NBP CSR Division, declared the 12-team event open.
