British visa sections functioning

Published October 2, 2001

ISLAMABAD, Oct 1: The British visa sections in Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore remain open. In view of the security situation following the recent terrorist attacks in the United States, the non-essential staff have left Pakistan.

“This means we have had to change the way in which we deliver our visa services at these posts,” says a press release issued here on Monday.

All three visa sections are only accepting applications which meet a set criteria through a drop box system.
