KARACHI, Jan 14: Eleven ships including a car carrier and a cement loader are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.

Seven ships, Yalibel, bulk cargo carrier, MSC Ayala, T.S. Qingdao and Sima Sahba with containers, Pacific Express with general cargo, Patriotic and Overseas Mindoro, oil tankers, were berthed on Friday after the departure of eight.

The departing ships were led by Ocean Promoter, Nordic PIA, Hanjin Berlin, Verity, Al-Soor-2, MSC Ayala, Bavaria Express and Medi Chennai, while P. Fortune, Patriotic, T.S. Qingdao, Pacific Express, Sima Sahba, Bow Santos, Abdullah Latif, Da Hua and CMB Maxime are due to sail out on Saturday.

A total tonnage of 99,966 tons comprising 49,338 tons of export cargo and 50,628 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Polaris Leader with 200 cars, De Shan to load cement, C.S. Salina with steel cargo, Al Saada with base oil, Tefra Bhum, Abtin-1, L.T. Trieste, OEL Trust, C.S.L. Ride, Y.M. North and Cape Manuel with containers.
