QUETTA, Jan 11: Armed men shot dead four people and injured two others in two firing incidents in Panjgur on Tuesday.

Haji Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Ishaq and Abdul Razzaq were killed on the spot, while Mohammad Saleem was injured seriously.

Levies Force sources said the victims were masons, who hailed from Vehari town of Muzaffargarh district in Punjab.

Security forces rushed to the site and took the bodies and the injured to the Panjgur civil hospital.

In another incident, armed motorcyclists killed a man and injured his son in Kalkor area of Panjgur on Tuesday.

Police sources said that deceased Haji Amanullah and Muqeem Khan were cloth traders and belonged to Quetta.

“Both the incidents seem to be a target killing,” a senior police officer said.

After completing legal formalities, the bodies will be sent to their native towns on Wednesday.
