HYDERABAD: Two get life term

HYDERABAD, Oct 1: The judge of the Anti-Terrorism Court, Syed Ali Ashraf Shah, here on Tuesday awarded life imprisonment to two accused in a robbery-cum-murder case.

The case against the accused, Abdul Rehman alias Abri and Ghulam Mustafa Palejo, was registered at the Jhoke Sharif police station after Mohammad Saleem was gunned down by some armed robbers.

The court sentenced Abdul Rehman to life imprisonment twice and Rs20,000 fine twice for committing murder and robbery. For committing offence under section 13-D, he was sentenced to seven years of imprisonment and a fine of Rs5,000.

Palejo was sentenced to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs20,000 for committing robbery. For possessing illicit weapon, he was awarded seven years of imprisonment and a fine of Rs5,000.
