NAWABSHAH, Sept 28: The two-member European Union election observers group, comprising Easter Robert Jordan and Manival Sanche, on Saturday met several candidates of various political parties here.

Journalists were not allowed to participate in these meetings.

Later, the PML-Q candidate for NA-213, Syed Zahid Hussain Shah, said that he had informed the EU observors about problems faced by him in the election campaign.

He dispelled the impression regarding creation of a “King’s Party.” However, he said the PPP has become ‘Queen’s Party.’

Zahid Hussain accused the district Nazim of helping the PPP candidates in running their election campaign besides using government funds in this regard.

He said that a circle of voters had been cut from polling station in Khair Shah, which would make it difficult for his voters to reach there.

A polling station, he said, had been relocated from Deh 51 Nusrat in Akram Lashari village and included in the polling station of Gul Hassan Keerio village.

The candidate of the People’s Party Parliamentarians also briefed the EU team about their problems.
