HYDERABAD, Sept 28: A meeting of all the Returning Officers (ROs), the DPO, Hyderabad, and the EDO, revenue, was held here, under the chairmanship of the District Returning Officer (DRO), Mr Parkash Lal Ambwani, to review the election arrangements, on Friday.

The Mukhtiarkars identified some 100 localities as sensitive in connection with the polling day, October 10.

However, the meeting did not categorise any area as sensitive, highly sensitive, normal, or semi-sensitive, which would be finalised at a later stage.

The meeting reviewed the arrangements for the transport, that would be provided by the police for the transportation of the polling staff and the polling material.

It also reviewed the funds, given by the government under different heads.

The issue of the improvised polling station was also discussed in the meeting.

The participants vowed to hold the elections in a free, transparent and peaceful manner.

All ROs, including Qazi Allah Bux, Syed Qurban Ali Shah Lakhyari, Abdul Rehman Bhatti, Abdul Kabir Leghari, Amjad Ali Bohyo and Mohammad Aslam Sheikh, along with the Assistant Election Commission, Waseem Jafri, the DPO, A.D.Khawaja, the EDO Revenue, Shakeel Hussain Naqvi, attended the meeting.
