Students asked to study hard

SHIKARPUR, Nov 11: An at exhibition and speech competition were organised here at government (N) Shah Latif high school on Saturday. The district Nazim, Shikarpur, Muhammad Arif Khan Mehar, inaugurated the exhibition and the speech competition.

EDO education Allahdad Memon presided over the function. Addressing the function, the Nazim urged the students not to apply wrong means in the examinations rather pay due attention towards the education in order to build their future.

He also called the parents to keep a strict watch over their children while they were getting education in schools and colleges to ensure punctuality and progress in the class.

The students and artists of various high schools of the district participated in art exhibition and speech competition. The chief guest gave away the prices to the student speakers.

In the evening, tableaus and comic competition was also held. On this occasion Dr Muhammad Ibrahim Jatoi, former MPA was the chief guest, while Dr Muhammad Abbas Soomro presided over the function.

PPP WORKERS: A special meeting of the PPP office-bearers of all the units of taluka Garhi Yasin was presided over by PPP taluka president Memon Dhani Bux Amroti at Kot Durrani, Garhi Yasin on Sunday.

Former provincial minister Agha Sirajuddin Durrani while addressing the workers emphasized the need of maintaining discipline and unity to strengthen party’s working, in order to enable the PPP to serve the masses well.
