PESHAWAR, Sept 26: The Peshawar Diocese of the Church of Pakistan, has condemned the killing of seven Christians in Karachi and demanded of the government to provide security to the minority communities.

In a statement issued here on Thursday, the General Secretary of Peshawar Diocese, Humphrey Sarfraz Peters, slammed the act of terror.

He said there were Christians in Palestine, Iraq, Syria and other Muslim states, but no act of terrorism against them occurs there. “It is very unfortunate that only in Pakistan Christians were being targeted,” he said.

He appealed to the government to provide security to Christians as it was its responsibly under the constitution.
