LAHORE, Nov 24: The Anti-Vehicles Lifting Wing (AVLW) of the capital city police claimed to have arrested four car thieves and seized 24 stolen cars and unlicenced weapons from their possession.

Ateam headed by AVLW DSP Saleem Mukhtar Butt arrested Ghulam Murtaza, the ringleader of car lifting gang, along with his three accomplices.

During preliminary interrogation, the suspects admitted to 33 cases of car-lifting and snatching.

The suspects would steal cars by applying a master-key and take them to Mardan to sell them at cheap prices.--APP
