MIRPURKHAS: Water shortage continues

MIRPURKHAS, Sept 18: The week-long water shortage continues to persist in different areas of the city.

Local residents blamed the public health engineering department and the municipal administration for the water shortage.

The localities, which are not being supplied water, are: Lalchandabad, Gharibabad, Adam town, Pak Colony, Ghousia Colony, Rajar Colony, Shah Colony, Hirabad, Lal Mohalla, Nai Mohalla, Taurabad and Dholanabad.

Residents of these areas said that they had to bring water from far-flung areas.

Mirpurkhas taluka council has directed the concerned authorities to ensure proper water supply to the affected areas.
