LARKANA: US diplomat visits Larkana

LARKANA, Sept 16: The deputy political counsellor of American Embassy in Islamabad, Duandas McCullough, arrived here on Monday for a two-day visit.

He held meetings with the district administration officials and exchanged views on the ensuing elections and prevailing political situation in the district.

He also had a meeting with Abdul Razzak Soomro, former ambassador to the UAE at his residence and discussed the coming elections and public opinion with him.

He later held a meeting with Babu Sarfraz Jatoi, president, Pakistan Muslim League (N), Larkana district, and candidate for the seat of NA-204 Larkana-I.

Talking to him, Sarfraz opposed the constitutional amendments unilaterally introduced by President Gen Parvez Musharraf.
