NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Sept 16: Some small growers staged a rally in Moro on Monday to demand possession of agricultural land allotted to them by the government in 1993 and 1998.

The farmers, Haji Abdul Rehman, Mohammad Ayub, Mumtaz Ali, Mujan, Noor, Mohammad Hanif and others were allotted land in Khairo Dero deh, Moro taluka during the governments of Nawaz Sharif in 1993 and 1998. However they have not been given possession of the land yet.

The rally was attended by the affected growers and the members of their families.

They complained that they were allotted land through Sanad by the governments but their possession was not handed over to them.
