KARACHI: Bail granted

KARACHI, Sept 16: A bench of the Supreme Court, comprising Justice Qazi Mohammed Farooq, Justice Rana Bhagwandas and Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar, admitted Ms Atiya Ghafoor to bail against a solvent surety of Rs100,000.

According to an order of the court available here on Monday, the petitioner sought bail in a case of alleged fraud. She was booked under sections 420, 468, 477, 511/34 of PPC on a charge of submitting forged Term Deposit Certificates as guarantor for repayment of loan from First Women Bank Ltd.—APP
