Published November 11, 2001

KARACHI, Nov 10: The pre-admission entry test for admission to the first year batch 2001-02 at NED University of Engineering and Technology was held on Saturday in the‘usual smooth manner’.

This was stated by a spokesman for NED University on Saturday evening.

He said more than 2,000 candidates appeared in the test held from 10 am to 12 noon. The merit list would be prepared in accordance with the merit list of the Board.

However, the names of those candidates who have failed in the pre-entry test would be scratched out and they would be eliminated from the merit list.

The final list of successful candidates would be displayed by early next week.

The result of the entry test has been displayed on the notice board of the university main gate and can also be viewed on the NED website

The admission process at NED would commence from November 19 and the teaching process would commence from January 7.—APP
