16 candidates withdraw papers

NAWABSHAH, Sept 14: Sixteen candidates withdrew their nomination papers in Nawabshah on the last day of withdrawal of papers till the filing of this report.

Ghulam Qadir Chandio (PPP), Rahim Bux Jamali (SDA), Abdul Fateh Abro (MQM), Ghulam Jan Dahri (PML-F), Syed Sajjad Shah (PML-N), Mohammad Umer Rajput and Noor Arain withdrew their nomination papers from NA-213, Altaf Hussain Parhyar (MMA), Pir Imdad Shah (PML-F), Tariq Rafiq (Independent) from NA-214, Mohammad Aslam Kaichi (PML-N), Abdul Rauf (MQM) and Waqar Ahsan from PS-24, and Amjad Hussain Shah (PML-Q) from PS-26, Dr Ali Khan Jamali (PPP) and Imdad Shah Rashidi (PML-F) withdrew their forms from PS-27.

Most of these candidates were either covering candidates or contesting on more than one seat.
