KARACHI: Clinical workshop

KARACHI, Sept 13: A clinical workshop was held on Friday on laser-assisted DCR, a new technique to relieve Naso Lacrimal Duct obstruction recently introduced at the Spencer Eye Hospital, says a press release.

It was largely attended by senior ophthalmologists. Dr Qazi Mohammad Wasiq, medical superintendent Spencer Eye Hospital, and Dr Fasihullah Mir, renowned ENT surgeon, made a detailed presentation on the subject.

Later, a live surgery session was done which was shown on a closed-circuit TV system to the attending doctors. Prof Ziauddin Shaikh, president Ophthalmological Society, Karachi branch, chaired the workshop.
