President to address UN today

NEW YORK, Sept 11: President Pervez Musharraf will address the UN General Assembly session on Thursday. The president will also attend a lunch being hosted by UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan and address a press conference.

Another important event will be President Musharraf’s meeting with President Bush. The two leaders are expected to discuss a wide range of issues.

The president will also attend a dinner being hosted in his honour by the Pakistan-American Community. Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai and President Pervez Musharraf will meet on Sept 13. —PPI
