Death toll in Baso Maira attack rises

HARIPUR, Sept 10: The death toll in the Baso Maira firing incident reached eight as two more injured died at the Ayub Medical Complex on Tuesday.

Unknown assailants had opened fire on a Toyota Hiace near Afghan camps of Baso Maira on Sunday, resulting in the death of six passengers and injuries to five others. Three of the injured were shifted to the AMC, where two of them, Ayaz and Asif Shah, died.—Correspondent
