LAHORE, Sept 9: The Punjab Communication and Works Department was awarded the ISO-9000 certification at a ceremony held at the Governor’s House here on Monday.
The C&W is the first government department in the country which has won the prestigious process of quality control management. Speaking on the occasion, the governor said that the Punjab Employees Social Security Institution and Punjab Institute of Cardiology were the next organizations in line for ISO-9000 certification.
Later, the governor gave away ISO-9000 certificates tothe C&W department and its allied organizations on behalf ofMoody International.—APP
