Protest against Hesco continues

KHAIRPUR, Sept 9: Scores of villagers of Urs Jagir village continued their protest against Hesco officials for disconnecting power supply to Ulra Jagir, Budhal Kumbhar, Bhangar and Narejo villages, here on Monday.

The villagers alleged that Hesco officials had demanded bribe which was refused so they disconnected the electricity supply to the villages.

HOSTAGES: The police have failed to recover two hostages, Akbar Gad and Deedar Gas, who were kidnapped 38 days back.

The relatives of the kidnapped villagers said they were not satisfied with the on-going investigations.

ROBBED: Some eight armed men blocked the Kumb-Nawabshah Road and robbed the passengers on Sunday night, near Jafar Jilani village of Thari Mirwah Taluka.

Later, the drivers of the robbed vehicles staged a sit-in on the road.
