HYDERABAD, Sept 9: Unidentified armed bandits looted cash and goods worth Rs1.5 million from a private firm in unit-7, Latifabad, within the jurisdiction of the A-section police station on early Monday morning.

The A-section police have detained three persons — cashier, Talib, and watchmen, Mohammad Hussain Shah and Ehtramuddin — for questioning.

The manager of the firm, International Brand Limited (IBL), Khalil Ahmad, who lodged an FIR with the Latifabad police, told Dawn he was informed by the two watchmen about the robbery.

Quoting the watchmen, he said six bandits took part in the robbery. The watchmen told police the bandits tied their hands and remained in the firm for 45 minutes.
