KARACHI, Aug 30: Kamil Khan’s explosive knock helped the KESC record a formidable 48-run win over the Pakistan Petroleum Ltd (PPL) in the sixth AKU Twenty20 Ramazan Cricket Tournament here at the AKU Sports Centre Ground on Sunday. Batting first, the KESC scored 193 for five in the allotted 20 overs. Kamil Khan smashed seven boundaries and five sixes in his unbeaten 78. Jaffer Qureshi (55) also batted well.

The PPL, in response, scored 145-8 off their 20 overs. Farid Zafar (35) was the top scorer. Zafar Ali and Faraz Ahmed captured three wickets each.
