KARACHI, Aug 24 A fine all-round performance by Hanif-ur-Rehman inspired Tapal CC to a five-wicket win over Pak Korangi CC in the 25th Karachi Gymkhana Bahria Town Ramazan Cricket Festival here at the KG Ground on Tuesday.

Hanif first claimed two wickets for 25 with his off-spinners as Pak Korangi CC, who had won their first two games in Group 'B', made 155-9 after winning the toss.

Kashif Naveed (41 off 35 balls, three fours and one six) and Ashraf Ali (34 off 26 balls, two sixes and one four) were the leading run-getters.

Off-spinner Tahir Khan (3-29) and Haris Ayaz (3-32) were the other wicket-takers for Tapal CC besides Hanif who then blasted 10 fours and a six in making 67 off 43 deliveries.

Former Pakistan Test opener Shadab Kabir slammed three sixes and as many fours in scoring 38 off 21 balls while sharing an opening stand of 88 with man-of-the-match Hanif.
