KARACHI: Medical research

KARACHI, Sept 1: Sindh health minister, Maj-Gen Ahsan Ahmad, has stressed the necessity of establishing research centres at the medical universities of the country.

He was speaking at the foundation-stone laying ceremony of the research centre at the Liaquat Medical University Sunday.

Talking to reporters in Karachi, the minister lamented that we were lagging behind in research, whereas in the medical field significance of research work in detection of diseases and in cure methodology could not be denied. — PPI
