HYDERABAD, Sept 1: A provincial inspection team held meetings with the district coordination officer and other officers of Hyderabad district at the DCO’s house the other day with special reference to monitoring the execution of ongoing development schemes under the Khushhal Pakistan Programme (KPP).

Speaking on the occasion, the chairman of the three-member team, Dr Capt Sikandar Panhwar, said the government was giving top priority to the KPP schemes.

He stressed upon the participants of the meeting to focus on the impact of the schemes to ensure the objective of poverty alleviation was being served.

Panhwar urged the district government to form monitoring teams at district and union council levels to ensure participation of people and quality of work.

The team said the KPP schemes should be identified by the Zila Mushawarti Committee and completed within the stipulated period.
