PESHAWAR, Aug 29: A two-day orientation workshop on the NWFP on-farm water management project phase-IV, assisted by the World Bank, started at the Bureau of Agriculture Information.
Agriculture extension director-general, the chief guest, stressed upon the participants to develop effective close linkages for the successful implementation of the project. He said the phase was one step ahead of the completed projects.
In the project, the main focus is not on watercourses renovation and farmers’ associations for the management of irrigation system would be formed.—Bureau
