Passengers looted

LAKKI MARWAT, Nov 8: Over Rs170,000 in cash, wrist-watches, shoes and other valuables were looted from passengers of a bus by armed robbers on Thursday evening.

The bandits forced the driver to stop the bus near Darra Tang area and looted the passengers of valuable goods.

Police said the Faisalabad-bound bus was stopped by armed gang of Mosam Khan alias Mosami near Darra Tang in the jurisdiction of Lakki Marwat police station.

They ordered bus driver Syedullah to move the vehicle to Jabbar Khel and when the vehicle reached there, they robbers started robbing the passengers.

Most of the passengers were businessmen of Bannu, Serai Naurang and Lakki Marwat who were going to Faisalabad for Eid shopping for their shopping stores.
