KARACHI, Aug 28: Safe Marine Athi to load and offload containers was allotted berth at Qasim International Containers Terminal during the last 24 hours, says a PQA press release on Wednesday.

Four ships were busy in loading/discharging containers, furnace oil and iron ore.

Cargo handling activity remained brisk where a tonnage of 63,323 tons comprising 56,183 tons of import cargo and 7,140 tons of export cargo, inclusive of cargo carried in 696 containers, was handled. Three vessels, Safmarine Victory, Safe Marine Athi and Fair Mary were expected to sail out on Wednesday.
