SIALKOT, Aug 26: Iraqi ambassador Kazim Abdul Hamid has said his country has always played its role in uniting Muslims by countering the wrong policies of the West.

He was speaking at a meeting of the Sialkot District Bar Association here on Monday.

Mr Hamid said Pakistan was enjoying the complete moral support of the Arab world, including Iraq, on all international issues.

He urged the Muslim world to unite against the forces inimical to Islam.

Bar president Azhar Chaudhry also addressed the meeting.

LOOTED: Six armed dacoits on late Sunday looted ornaments, cash, valuables worth Rs1 million and also took away a motorcycle from a house in Rasulpura (Sambrial), Daska tehsil.

Outlaws busted into the house of trader Abdul Jabbar, made hostage inmates at pistol point and started scooping cash and valuables.

Later, they escaped with the booty and the motorcycle parked inside the house.
