KARACHI: New NIPA courses

KARACHI, Aug 25: The National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA), is offering two new one week courses from August 26 to 31, pertaining to Managerial Grid on Operations Management Module (MGOMM) and Commercial Fraud for Managers of Public/ Private Sector Organizations.

MGOMM has offered the first course to participants of the 74th Advanced Course in Public Sector Management, who are senior civil servants eligible for promotion. The module is intensive, and participants will work in groups for six days for about 70 hours from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.

The course on commercial fraud is for middle level managers of public and private sector organizations aimed at training officers in detection and prevention techniques of various fraud like payroll, internet, inventory, intellectual property, insurance, credit card and their effect on financial statements.—PPI
