ISLAMABAD, Nov 7: Anti-narcotics speech competition between students of FG Secondary School No6, I-10/4 was held Wednesday to create awareness against the deadly effects of narcotics.

The contest, organised by Drug Abuse Prevention Resource Center of the Directorate General Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) was presided over by Principal of the school, Ms Aziza Raza Noori.

Col Wasim Ijaz, Force Commander, Regional Directorate, ANF, Rawalpindi was the chief guest and Hussain Ahmad Khan, Director, DAPRC, ANF was the chief organizer of the contest.

The students emphasised on the ill effects of drugs and urged the people to refrain from indulging in this vice. They also performed tableaux on drug abuse.

The winners were awarded prizes and certificates.—APP
