Man killed in road accident

MUZAFFARABAD, Aug 15: A man died and 10 others, including four women, were injured in a road accident in Leepa Valley in southeast of the AJK capital on Wednesday, police said.

The accident occurred when a passenger jeep (AJK- 4661) fell into a ravine in Khadri Nullah village of the valley, more than 100 kilometres from here, reportedly due to some technical fault.

Mir Ahmed, son of Said Ahmed was killed and 10 others, identified as Hanifa Begum, Zohra Bibi, Abdur Rashid, Jamila Bibi, Mehnaz Bibi, Naseer Ahmed, Mohammad Nazir, Mustafa, Mohammad Rafiq, and Babar Hussain (driver), were injured. They were admitted to the local military hospital.
